Known as the last Battle of the Revolutionary War.
On August 19, 1782 British and their Native allies faced off with Kentuckians while crossing the Licking River at Blue Licks. Over 70 Kentuckians were downed in a matter of minutes.
On August 17-18, 2024 re-enactors portrayed the historic battle for visitors.
In addition the Sons of The American Revolution (SAR)
honored their fallen ancestors with a ceremony at the moniment.
