As much as the Festival is about the fashions and seeing and being seen, it is also a learning experience for participant. The event planners always have fresh ideas for speakers, demonstrators and hands on learning experiences. That also mixes well with available vendors for shopping for period goods.

One of the highlights of the weekend for many of the participants is the period tea. Tea is served every hour between 10:45 and 5 pm both Saturday and Sunday. And like the Friday night Ball - tea servings sell out every year.
