The town of Perryville, Kentucky was changed forever when Union and Confederate forces clashed there in October of 1862. But even though “Perryville” will forever carry the connotation of a battlefield - the town remained. And interpreters from Friends of Perryville and The Perryville Battlefield State Park gathered on June 19-20 for a Horse Sale - to show visitors another side of life in 19th century Perryville.
