The Animals at The Fair at New Boston 2014

Photos by Kathy, Jimmy, Kelly, and Chris Cummings

What would a fair be without animals?

In the late 18th and early 19th centuries animals provided transportation, labor, income, food and food products. Here’s to the re-enactors who work especially hard bringing this impression to fair goers. From period pens, ropes and leads to allowing the visitors to view, pet and interact with their animals - our hat is off to them.
