Locust Grove is the historic home of Lucy Clark Croghan and William Croghan. Built in 1790 (the Croghans were married in 1789). It was the final home of General George Rogers Clark after he was forced by illness to move from Clark’s Point to the home of his sister.

Re-enactors come every spring and fall for a market fair and Revolutionary encampment bringing sights that would have been seen when the Croghans (pronounced Crawns) were in residence here. Many of the groups attending were with George Rogers Clark on his Ohio Campaign of the Battle of Peckuwe.
