Built by the Croghan Family c. 1797 the home at Locust Grove has hosted many a visitor in it’s storied past.
The 18th Century Market Fair at Historic Locust Grove brings shoppers and soldiers alike. A Soldier’s Life- Often times a soldier’s life consisted of waiting. Waiting, for orders, waiting to go into battle, waiting for news. Games of dice and cards and hobbies like wood carving helped pass the time.
