If you like brass band music, Frankfort, Kentucky was the spot to be over the Labor Day Weekend. With bands and guest speakers from around the country - there was something for everyone.
The high heat that plagued all events that weekend resulted in some outdoor venues being moved into the nearby Kentucky History Center and went off without a hitch.
We visited on Sunday during the “Battle of the Bands” held at the new Ward Oates Amphitheater along the Kentucky River. We also have video from some of Saturday’s venues shot by Woody Retherford of Sentimental Productions of Cincinnati, Ohio.
