One of the most unique displays at this year’s Contemporary Long Rifles Show was by Isaac Hankla.
For those of us who have always wanted to own a premier piece by one of the renowned members of the CLA - this display was amazing.
Son of long time CLA member Mel Hankla - father and son put their heads together on this one.
The display featured not only guns, knives and accouterments but photos of Isaac at stages of his life and often with the famed maker of the piece.
Isaac Hankla heads off to Transylvania College this fall - and down whatever path life will take him. But what a great display commemorating a childhood surrounded by truly great artists and craftsmen.
