Event Coordinator Bonnie Wise introduces Edward Maeder to the Jane Austen Festival audience. Maeder is the former Director of Exhibitions and Curator of Textiles at Historic Deerfield, and has extensive experience in the world of costume, fabrics, and needlework. He is the author of An Elegant Art: Fashion & Fantasy in the Eighteenth Century, and is a Fellow of the Costume Society of America, and most recently was Costume Historian and Consultant for Middlemarch Films production of Dolley Madison for PBS.
