To celebrate their 10th Wedding Anniversary, Angel and Jesse Mudd renewed their vows in a traditional Cherokee Wedding Ceremony and invited re-enactors and visitors at Fort Boonesborough to attend. The ceremony began with the Brides Mother, Morning Glory leading the assembled family children in scattering wild flowers in a circle. Native re-enactors took their places to begin the ceremony.

The white matrimonial garments were made especially for the occasion. After the ceremony they were auctioned with the proceeds to go to The Purefinder Fund - a non profit named after the late “Hester Purefinder” Colleen Gilbert to help struggling re-enactors.
