Theater was alive and well in the 18th Century. And the crew at The Fair at New Boston brings it to life each year with a different production. Clever sets inside the big tent, and comedy from a different era draw visitors for a chance to laugh and enjoy the production.

Visitor’s to the tent get a good laugh from Dr. Balthasar and his Miracle Medicine. A traveling medicine show was such a rare occurrence on the early frontier that it easily captured the interest, attention and money of early settlers. And before they ever new the truth - the medicine show was gone along with their trust and coins!
