One of the highlights of the festival is the afternoon style show with Betsy Bashore. Betsy has been involved with living history and clothing styles of the period since her teen age years. Her fashions are taken from extant examples in museums, books and are completed with hats and accessories of the period.
Gayle Simmons shared her collection of Regency Fashions on the second floor of the house at Locust Grove. Each room contained mannequins with complete ensembles, jewelry and even some original pieces like the popular (in the early 19th century) bonnet veil.
