Time was rolled back at Sky Trail Park at Cove Spring Park in Frankfort, Kentucky where a middle ages encampment dotted the landscape. Visitors could visit the camps, see demonstrations of period weapons, and buy from period vendors. The one time only event was held to open the new archery range at the park. Admission was free and Saturday saw droves of people come out for the fun, while Sunday’s high winds limited some of the activities. But the large trebuchet was on display and was flinging pumpkins across the sky. |
