	Exploring the conflicts between the Natives and white settlers that arose with the onset of white settlement into the frontier in the decade after the French and Indian War and before the American Revolution.

		British Loyalists often accompanied the Indians




		Settlers come forward to greet the approaching Indians


		But there is no translator present - and the greetings go unanswered.



				The settlers too, begin to raise their weapons.


				Feeling apprehensive - the Indians begin to raise their weapons.



			The settlers have brought captive Indian girls they wish to trade for white captives.

But with a flash of guns - the negotiations fail.

A settler runs to secure the captives.




				Before the girls are secured one of them grabs a gun and kills one of the settlers.



					The third girl is encouraged on by a British Loyalist.




		One of the young girls breaks loose and flees to the Indians. Although she is obviously a white child with blond hair - she was captured as an infant and knows no life other than the native one.
