The inhabitants of Daniel Boone’s Fort Boonesborough ably defended their homes against Indian attack on Sunday, September 27th. But they had less luck against the weather on Friday night and Saturday due to torrential rains. Although the battle re-enactments had to be canceled on Saturday, visitors still came to the fort and re-enactors laughed their way through muddy camps, wet clothing and miserable conditions.
