On Saturday the rains came ... but the fair went on...
There was a Frernchman making lace and three girls selling grapes....
With the printer’s apprentice printing indenture papers and Ben Franklin speaking to the crowds
Parasols became umbrellas and little girls slid in the mud....
The showers came and went and folks gathered under canvas or paused to reflect until the rains passed...
With a tactical battle too!
