Boone Station
School DayApril 20, 2007
Photos by Jim & Kathy Cummings
Arriving students met with a guide in the parking lot at Boone’s Station before visiting the encampment and talking with the re-enactors.
At each station they could learn of a daily chore or skill performed by their ancestors on the frontier.
Questions and answers are part of the learning experience.
An 18th century rifle and cannon were extremely popular with the school children.
